Giuseppi's Bar & Bistro

We had a wonderful night here celebrating my sister's birthday. A relaxed, comfortable atmosphere on the terrace and incredibly tasty food. There were a few delays with some orders but the staff were quick to rectify things and helpful. Rocky the wine waiter was attentive all night and very friendly. We loved our night here and would gladly come again. Thank you!

My partner and I visited this restaurant without a reservation, on arrival we were greeted by Alex, a very friendly, professional member of staff. He kindly went through the menu, including the specials which all sounded amazing . For starters my partner and I shared oysters and prawns and a small plate of pasta. For mains we shared seabass which was featured on the specials at the time. From the bread, to the wine to the mains , all dishes were fresh, flavoursome and presented well. The views from the restaurant is beautiful, overlooking the calm sea. There is a terrace outside which we enjoyed a coffee on after our lunch. As well as the food, the service overall was 10/10, and I can’t wait to visit again, all the dishes sounded great so I will look forward to trying something different. Thank you for an amazing experience!

My experience at Giuseppe’s Bar and Bistro was a mixed bag, with exceptional service and atmosphere overshadowed by some disappointing aspects of the food. While the service was exceptional and the atmosphere inviting, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed with the food. The sauces, while creative, didn't always complement the meat dishes as well as I had hoped. For example, the steak with tomato sauce was a bit overpowering, masking the natural flavors of the meat. Similarly, the duck sauce was a tad too spicy for my liking, overpowering the delicate taste of the duck. However, there was a bright spot amidst the disappointment: the quail Wellington. This dish stood out as a highlight of the meal, with perfectly cooked quail enveloped in flaky pastry, providing a delightful burst of flavor with each bite. In summary, while Giuseppe’s Bar and Bistro offers exceptional service and atmosphere, the food fell short of expectations in some aspects. Despite this, the standout dishes, like the quail Wellington, showcase the potential for culinary excellence at this establishment.

An Unforgettable Culinary Experience at Giuseppi’s Giuseppi’s is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone — warm, elegant, and effortlessly welcoming. A perfect 10/10 for ambiance. But the real star here is the food. Every dish we tried was divine. The smoked octopus was tender with a rich depth of flavor, the scallops seared to perfection, and the grouper and tuna both fresh and beautifully presented. The prawns (Crudi) were bursting with flavour. Every bite was a reminder of the chef’s artistry and attention to detail. It’s rare to find a place where every single dish hits the mark, but today, Giuseppi’s delivered that and more. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a truly special dining experience.

The experience was enjoyable overall, it fell short of the elevated standards I associate with a restaurant of this caliber. The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was attentive, but there were some inconsistencies. While certain courses truly impressed with their creativity and flavor, others felt underwhelming or lacked the refinement I anticipated. The house smoked octopus tacos was beautifully presented but the tacos bread was hard to eat as well as a spicy dish that waiter didn't mention it, but the main course the Slow Roast Belly of Local Pork was excellent and was expecting a different presentation of the Roasted Stuffed Quail as well as the quantity. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe the restaurant has the potential to deliver a truly stellar experience.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home, even as non-locals. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the food. The menu features an incredible selection of freshly sourced fish that is simply to die for! Each dish was prepared to perfection, showcasing the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean. We tried a variety of seafood, and every bite was a testament to the chef's expertise and commitment to quality. The service at Giuseppi’s was equally impressive. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving. They took the time to recommend dishes and pairings, adding a personal touch that enhanced our dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is charming and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a romantic dinner or a special celebration. The stunning views of the surrounding area only added to the magic of the evening. Overall, Giuseppi's at Salini Resort is a must-visit for anyone in Malta. Wow, the food was really, really delicious. I can recommend this place to everyone. Truly first class. Everything we ate was wonderful. We had two fish dishes and they were prepared so well. Before that, they served us bread with two sauces, and that little touch was also very tasty. We can only recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly. Our waiter Alex was extremely friendly and kind. He explained everything to us in a fun way and made the whole experience even better. Thank you very much and warm greetings from Austria.

We visited this restaurant yesterday and we opted to stay outside as the indoor space was full and it gelt noisy inside. We were definitely satisfied with the food and it's quality. Also, the portions are reasonable. Also, the wine selection is vast and rich. Our only concern when it comes to service was that waiters took around 30 minutes to present us the menu and another 30 minutes to take our order, which eventually meant that we started having our main course at around 22.45. Other than that, would recommend.
